Pattern Review: Schooner Tee and Dress

I love cute + practical so when I saw the line drawing of this pattern it was love at first sight.
❤  ❤  ❤
Our new summer staple.

This pattern has so many things going for it:

  • Knit--fast and comfy
  • Flutter sleeves--I'm such a sucker for these, girly and fun
  • Dress option--make it a whole outfit!
  • High/low hem option--we love our options
  • Lettuce hem/regular hem--change it up
  • Pockets--every kid's favorite
  • Huge size range--newborn to 12

Then add in the super unique construction method (the flutter is built-in) and this is the fastest sew ever.

This is the kind of summer outfit we live in.

But the sleeve is so sweet that I'm going to sew up a bunch to go under jumpers and pinnies.

Amelia loved these pink argyle owls on this Euro knit I'd been saving from Mabel Madison.

I added a pair of Air Balloon shorts from Puperita in hot pink to finish this outfit, but this top would look awesome with anything: jeans, shorts, leggings, tights, layered. You name it. It's a classic.

I also whipped one out in plain pink (everything pink around here!) but I didn't do photos of that one. Yet.
 I will.
It's still so cute!

This was a fun test to sew up.
