Pattern Review: Wings Cut Back Tunic by PL Kids

This week the Wings Cut Back Tunic by PL Kids released.
This is a sweet and fast summer sew with lots of cute options.

My model currently wears only pink. So I knew no matter how cute the pattern was it had to be made up in PINK for it to get worn and I'm glad I did cause it turned out super cute. This fabric is from the fabulous Mabel Madison--my favorite shop for quality, unique Euro fabrics.

The Wings Cut Back tunic is for sizes 18m to 10. It's a very easy fitting top that will look cute on all girls.  Included in the pattern is a heart shaped "wings" design that you can cut out of the back for a super cute design element, hence the name. We just did the plain back. The tunic features 2 styles for mixing and matching patterns or color blocking. Lots of fun options!

There's adorable circle pockets which you could do contrast fabric to mix thing up. We just did pink, you guessed it.

This pattern is meant for knits, so it's helpful to have some knowledge of binding techniques, or own a coverstitch machine. I want one SO BAD. This pattern also doesn't come with seam allowances added in, which is common in Euro patterns, but a new experience for a lot of us Americans. But it's not hard! Оксана walks you through every step of the way, so don't fear!

There you have it! A fun summer tunic perfect for lots of play. I really like it paired with ankle length leggings, but once it gets warmer, some knee length leggings will be so cute.

You can find the pattern HERE and it's 20% off until February 25 with coupon code "PROMO20" .

You can find Оксана and PL Kids on facebook here--stay updated for more cute and comfy patterns!
